VISION/MISSION

The vision and mission God gave was for us to encourage the Body of Christ in New York State to be in one accord for one purpose - to minister to the Lord with praise and worship. We don't have to all be in one place at the same time, but unified in spirit. We believe that if we can unify on magnifying the Lord in New York State, God will respond with awakening, revival, and harvest.

​We seek to partner with the local church and other Christ-centered organizations throughout the state. We love, honor, and value the local church and the Body of Christ. It is through the unity of the Body of Christ working together and their passion for God's manifest presence that transformation can come to New York State. Jesus' prayer is that we might be one so the world would know the Father sent him (John 17:21-23). Worshipping our Lord is one thing we can all agree on and do together that blesses our Lord.

UNITY THROUGH PRAISE & WORSHIP

​We may not agree on every doctrine, but we can all agree on this: the Lord is worthy of our praise. It would please the Lord to see the Body of Christ in New York State come together to give Him honor and glory as One Voice.

Ministering to the Lord is our first calling as priests in His Kingdom. 1 Peter 2:9  "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light."

 

Following that calling, we are encouraging the establishment of local and regional, monthly corporate praise and worship gatherings throughout New York State (Altars of Worship) and encouraging participation in our statewide corporate praise and worship (One Voice NY) held twice a year in the Spring and Fall.

Praise and worship bring people together. As we faithfully minister to the Lord as One Voice, the Holy Spirit knits our hearts together and strengthens the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Our ultimate goal is to join together in fulfilling Jesus’ prayer from John 17:20–23, that we would be one, so the world would know the Father sent Him.

 

​​​​AOW COORDINATORS

Jane Lampkin of Kingdom Sound and June Schuldt of Incense Rising are located in the Capital Region of NY and have both served in worship and prayer for decades in various capacities. The Lord has spoken to both of them about the importance of unified worship and prayer throughout New York State. In January 2025, NYS Altars of Worship was established to gather worshippers who will magnify the Lord throughout the state. They don't consider themselves as leaders because ministry to the Lord with unified praise and worship is a priestly duty of all believers. They simply put out the invitation, coordinate the initiative, and promote unity through praise and worship.
